It's NaNoWriMo time! I have decided to make my attempt at it this year, it's been about 4 years since I tried this and I think I was about 40k short of the goal. I gave up pretty quickly. It's been rough as I don't have any new ideas but I have some ones that I haven't thought of in a while that I am tweaking and with the help of the Adopt a Plot thread on the NaNo forums, maybe I have something.
Writing software is all the rage these days. I've used others but recently came across Scrivener. It is amazing! Everything is broken down right, it's super easy to use. The only catch is that it isn't free. There is a 30 day trial and the software is $40 for WIN and $45 for MAC. I still might buy it, because I can't picture not using it at this point. Look into it if you are looking for software. One of my favorite features is the compile. It puts everything together into a shiny MS to send out to Agencies or Publishers. Great stuff.
